Re: How do i edit my MDN?
If you browse to the windows folder you should be able to run the EPST from there.

Re: How do i edit my MDN?
try ##3282# (##data#) and you prob get from there or call sprint and have them reprogram with it.

Re: How do i edit my MDN?
if you know your msl then do the ##3282# and you should be able to do it that way

Re: How do i edit my MDN?
it isnt under the ESPT settings, and the ## functions dont work, as it is a custom dialer i think... so now what lol?
thanks in advance |
Re: How do i edit my MDN?
Go to the windows folder and run EPST from there, then click edit and enter your MSL.

Re: How do i edit my MDN?
I have 2 ESPT's in the windows folder. is tht normal? secondly... lol, i dont think mdn is under espt, it is however under the ##(MSL)# but i cant get to that through my custom skin/dialer, and im at work so i cant flash to a different rom.. is there another back way in?

Re: How do i edit my MDN?
you need to use the ##778# code to get into the area you need to change your MDN, but with a custom dialer I'm not sure how. maybe try ##778 then hit talk and see if that works (the MDN is under the NAM settings section) or the ## (MSL) then hit talk.

It would also be a good idea to try what is suggested instead of saying "I don't think it is there" without looking. The MDN and MSID can both be changed through EPST. If you have two EPSTs in your Windows directory, which is normal, try running one and if that does not work try running the other. One of them will just give you a harmless error message, the other will run. If you don't feel comfortable clicking one when there are two, you probably shouldn't be flashing custom ROMs in the first place. After choosing "Edit" and entering your MSL, click "View info", then "NAM Settings". The second line down, "Mobile Directory Number", is what MDN stands for. A few lines below that is "MSID". Select the one you want to change and click "Edit", then enter the correct data. If you need to change both, repeat that last instruction. Exit the app when you are done making changes. Also, ##778# works for Sprint; ##778 Talk works for Verizon. |
