Nah, its driver files not an application. You ever notice when you restart your phone it can say 70% and than it will say 80% after restart...then like 10 min later its back at 70%. Its because of the amount of drain the battery has and the driver trying to estimate it acurately...so now instead of it being in increments of 10, its in increments of 1...I doubt it affects battery life at all... Maybe no2chem has more info?

I really like the DCD an No2Chem roms, but I can't bury my boss in email copies

not sure what this has to do with the battery meter.
just uncheck encryption in activsync to fix the multiple emails.

If I installed TestCert_Privileged.cab for the LED killing dll, do I have to do it again for this one? I would assume no.

No, one copy is sufficient but you can install it again if you like.

er, i have no clue.. it shouldn't have an effect on battery life at all. perhaps the 10% accuracy was set because the battery meter isn't that accurate in the first place and htc didn't want to confuse people... *shrug*.... its not polling the battery more often at all, the driver actively polls the battery to check the temperature and voltage at preset intervals...

Re: new battery.dll for the titan

sorry for getting back to the discusion so late, i check 20 min after the above post and it was still at 76%. 6 hours later and i am at 37%. this included over an hour of phone time and another hour or so of wifi. so i think its its doing its best to be accurate.

once again thanks for the awesome work you guys have done.

Is this compatible with Pre 3.16 ROMs?

Re: new battery.dll for the titan

Hmm, Unless were not use to the actual real numbers.. but I had 100% and went into the shower (7 mins at most) then came out it was at 96% just sitting there... doesnt really seem to right.... but then we are seeing numbers in true time on the phone... But I know usually it takes about an hr or more to get from 100% to 90% laying dormant.. Ill let ya know how fast it takes to get down to 90%. (Havent added anyting since the batt tweak)
