Problems activating Pocket Informant 8
 

Has anyone else had this problem with WM 6.1 and Pocket Informant 8? I flashed the new rom from DCD's version. Everything works fine including the stock calendar program. I load Pocket Informant 8 and it seems to work until I do a soft reset. All I see at that point is "PI8" flash on the top tool bar like it's trying to load and then nothing. I switched to a much earlier version of PI and it seems to be working fine.

This might be a 6.1 issue. You might want to post this in PI's forums...

I'm using Pocket Informant 8 with DCD rom version 2.2.0 with no problem. Have you tray to add the registration direct into the registry? you can activate PI8 by adding RegKey string to your registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\WebIS\PocketInformant]
"RegKey"="XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX"

Where XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX is your serial number

Thanks for the responses. The Tech Support at PI sent me a more current build of PI8 and the program launches just fine now. They didn't say what changes they made but it worked.
