No roaming with no2chem's rom... need help please
 

My roaming is no longer working after installing no2chem's custom rom. The roaming triangle shows up but when trying to make a call after two rings I get some kind of automated error. Anyone else having this problem? Any solution? I'd hate to downgrade back to stock because I really love this rom. Thanks in advance.

i've had this error ever since i upgraded to the new rom. i've tried many different roms....currently using colonels rom...still have the issue....i too don't know what to do.

this may be a stupid question but are you on the most recent radio rom and also have you updated the PRL?

the latest PRL is 60611. if you search here you can find a direct link and instructions on how to update.

definitely...using new gps rom (several...currently using colonel)....radio 3.27 of course...prl 60610 and 60611 ...tried both...no go while in roam....restored phone setting via ##3282#...nada...put in dummy msl and msid #'s reset....tried to make call ...entered correct info ....tried to call on roam ...nada....no data (while roaming).....i guess i'm always in a strong sprint service evdo area anyway (dc area) so raom functionality is not that big a deal...but want to be able to just in case .....any other suggestions...

Ya all the information is correct for me as well. Were there any cprint customizations that were necessary to install for roaming to work? The only sprint customization I installed was the IOTA. If anyone is reading this and is using no2chem's rom please reply even if roaming is working for you, so that I know if I am the only one. Thanks

I roam on Sprint with Voice using the No2Chem ROM with no problems. Texting works for Sprint and Verizon users and Data does not work, but that is no fault of the ROM. Unless you roam onto a Verizon or Alltel tower data may or may not work.

I'm using 5065 and I just tried to place a call while roaming. I got some automated message from Cricket, saying my phone wasn't authorized. Waited about 2 minutes and tried again and it went through just fine, this time on Alltel though.
