NO2Chem 5044 on xv6800

This kind of relates to some of the stuff in the 6.1 thread but i cant find anything in there with it being 90 pages long. I have searched the site to try and find the answers, to no avail.

Ok heres the problem. Flashed 2.0 build 5044 no2chem onto my verizon xv6800. everything seems to work beutifully, except a few things.
GPS wont get a fix in googlemaps and randomly finds satellites. i read somewhere that googlemaps doesnt work real well with the verizon xv's. is there a better software or would one of the beta background services help this issue.
(FIXED)i keep getting a popup about vision services erroring out(error 1012). Also i am constantly prompted to enter a username and password for accessing the internet which has never happened before. now i can hit cancel and it goes right through but its an annoyance.
Now i know this is a sprint rom but does anyone have the verizon cabs to reinstall.

N E Way keep up the excellent work and hopefully ill be able to start contributing something around here.
also I am taking the Sprint splash at startup out(as it comes on directly after the Verizon one) which is kind of funny but i cant seem to find the files. I know where it says they are supposed to be but when i replace them it doesnt do anything. Thanks in advance for any help.

you need to try DCD's Verizon port.
I use it. Runs great.

I have tried DCD's version 2.2.6 and it has allot of bugs, memory leaks, and the SD problem. Has someone here created a VZW version of NO2Chem's 5044?

I ask this because I have read both this forum and XDA's and NO2chem's ROM does not seem to have the smae issues as DCD's unless the reason for all the issues over there is because it is being ported to a VZW version.
