Daaaamn, sounds like a clean, custom ROM. I've read over and over many threads and posts about flashing ROMs and I think I'm almost ready. The ROM Yay4 Juggs requested sounds good!

Do you mean extract the nbh file into DogGuy's Kitchen or into his Kitchen Maker, or does it matter? If I run prepit.bat on a 6.1 nbh in a customized kitchen I already have for 6.0, will it upgrade the OS fully to 6.1?

see with this type of rom its very flexible if i need to add anything down the road...and wont have much drag like i have now with the beta rom and palm threaded sms...

If you are using Dogguys yes it will delete your OEM, SYS, ROM folders from the old rom to be replaced with the new one.

Dogguys Kitchen and Kitchen maker I believe to be the same thing. As long as you are using a 6.1 rom as the input rom then yes whatever you make will be based on the 6.1 rom you used. I assume you are talking only about the Titan, for example you can't take a 6.1 Kaiser rom and drop it in dogguys kitchen to create a titan rom.

Thanks Juggs, you've given me the strength to admit this of myself as well... i cant put my finger on it but all of a sudden i'm like nervous to do this type of custom rom... even though i've been cookin and kitchenin since my 6700 too!!! it's funny i feel like a daredevil that suddenly got afraid of heights during mid-jump! man it's weird! Maybe its the fact that it the aspect of combining the Rom, Radio, and SPL all at once, i just dont one of the upgrades to fail and i have to 'duct tape' my phone back into working condition (if at all) if something goes wrong... man i feel inferior at the moment lol. SMH @ myself :angry7:

After reading prepit.bat, I understand what it's doing now. I might try commenting out the line that deletes the OEM directory, but it's not that big a deal, as I keep all the ones I use in a separate directory anyway. Thanks for your help. :)

FInished, I am flashing it to my phone to make sure I didn't make any obvious mistakes. Once I test that is boots and seems to work, I'll post it. I would have been done a lot sooner but I haf to chat with the wife for a half hour and run to the coffee shop for a coffee and smoke.

Scratch that DCD has the default 6.1 green theme, will change to black theme and upload everything else seems to be functioning.
