Is there an x-button that will work in 6.1?

You could always try QuickMenu. It also has a x button function and much more.

Yes!! QuickMenu is vastly superior to X-button, Wtask, and all the other ones I've tried. It's a great start menu & taskmanager all in one and it has a tiny footprint to boot! |
Quick menu is by far the best menu app. Period.
I use it in conjunction with WisbarAdvance (it includes an option to close the app when you press X) it works great! |
Wow definitely a fan of Quick Menu, thanks guys!

I have a silly question about quickmenu, I downloaded it directly from their site which is not in english at all and I ended up with an executable and two DLL's. How do I install it? I am guessing everything goes into windows directory and a shortcut maybe in the startup folder?

Just put the folder into the Program Files folder of the unit and click the app to get it running. It will then set it's self up to start automatically and stuff.
I didn't like it and went back to HTC Task Manager 2.0.31261.1 I just wish that when you click on the memory % that it took you to the new 6.1 Task Manager... |
I took QuickMenu back off as well, there was a task manager Colonel used on one of his builds that showes the programs running on the task bar like xp does and it made it so much easier to switch tasks. I was hoping quickmenu did it but I couldnt figure out how.
