Differences between DCD and No2Chem's Rom's

Ready for an idiotic question? What are the differences between the two? I've been following both threads (DCD's is on XDA-developers) and it seems like both ROM's are very basic and that both of these geniuses are helping each other out.

Can somebody explain the differences? I'm currently using DCD's 2.1 and may upgrade to the 2.2 but would like to know how No2Chem's is different.

OK. Stop laughing at the idiot.

Some of the core XIP dll's in DCD's ROM are not TRUE 6.1 ports like No2Chem's ROM is. In other words some Kernal components are not yet fully 6.1. DCD is working on an updated release currently. That's the one I'm waiting for!

I currently have an RC copy of WDM 2008 from MS and I can't wait to try it out with WM 6.1!!!

dcd also uses alot of touch themed items like the 10 key com manager and touch dialer. No2Chem has all of the stock items in the ROM. There are a few reg hacks to different things like the date on the start bar.

dcd also eliminates all the games and the games folder inside the programs folder in most of his roms...

I started using DCD's ROM and I like how much more free memory I have than the full bloat versions, however I miss some of the nicer programs like HTC home, x-button task manager, Windows live, live search, and Yahoo to go 2, all of which are not in DCD's ROM. I guess that is the point though either keep it minimalistic or add what you want. Thumbs up for the ROM

Allright! I uhh.. downgraded from DCD 2.2.1 today since it still had too many problems for regular use. This rom has none of the new troubles and the cooked in extras are sweet! Thanks and keep good similars comin as the 6.1 XIP shakes out.
