Need help ASAP. Dont know what to do
 

i decided to to install dcds rom on my phone and went through everything step by step and am now stuck in the boot screen where it says htc smart mobility. I followed the link to to the exitboot program but when i connect my phone through usb it doesnt do anything on the pc it isnt recognized no lights come up nothing. When i try to run the exe im told to disable usb in active sync and check the usb connection.

Heres a rundown of exactly what i did so i can get my phone back up and running. I installed the latest hard spl 2.4. When it was complete i booted the phone up like normal but i was having a problem when the screen went dark it would not come back. I figured this was due to not installing the latest rom yet. I installed dcd latest rom. Once it completed and the phone went to boot up it stayed on the htc smart mobility.

If anyone can give me a hand i dont even know where to start now

i ran a hard reset hoping it would help but no luck same result

Hold the camera and the power button while your do a hard reset. It will bring you to the boot loader and then you can flash it to stock or try again.

I see that you installed the 2.4 unlocked bootloader but did you also flash the actual ROM and radio (the radio should be the 3.27 ver). What it sounds like is happening is that you flashed the ROM but didn't flash the radio (so you are hanging at the HTC Smart Mobility screen). Eventually the backlight is timing out so that's why your screen is going black. So basically we just need to know if you flashed both the radio and the ROM.

after the hard spl. I loaded the rom with no radio, just the file that comes with the installer built into it.

ok i got the boot loader up im loading the radio as we speak to see if that fixes the problem

wow talk about popping my cherry. I didnt think i would get it to work but after i loaded the radio it booted up fine. Now i just have to get the unlock code because i cant make calls.

try this first, and i know that u get no response when u plug in your phone but that is ok.
1) use the disable activesync and then the exit boot prog

if you need your msl (and other programming info) just pm me your phone # and esn (dec or hex) from the back of your phone under the battery. i'll do an account look-up for you (i'm a third party employee)
