Receiving Picturemail w New 3.16 ROM
 

Every since i flashed the 3.16 ROM when i receive a picturemail, i click on the link inside the text and it opens IE to the full sprint picturemail webpage and i cant see the picture, in the past ROMs it would open IE to a page that just showed the picture and i could click to enlarge it, anyone else having this? Is there a fix for it bc i hate having to get online to look at my pics.

I found a little work around but this is a really shady way to get it working. When you scroll down on the left side of the screen will have the picture. Just try tapping around on the screen and it will pop up. Try it and you'll see what I mean.

Make sure that you are not opening the picture mail URL in OPERA, and that you are using IE.

I had this same problem and found this post referenced in another topic, hopefully it works for you. I had to manually input the code in the registry, as the cab file did not work. That could be an issue of the fact that I am running No2Chem's WinMo 6.1 ROM, don't know for sure. What I do know is that it fixed the issue for me. Best of luck...

It could be because those settings are set in provxml, therefore loaded after a hard reset.

Hard to say, I know it wasn't that big of an issue just typing in the registry setting called for, so I didn't sweat it too much. Could be a tweak you might want to consider in a future build of that badass ROM of yours, I know it was a bit disconcerting at first not receiving pix messages, relatively simple fix though...

I tried typing all that stuff in and it still doesnt work.

:'( I need picture mail. I am in Fort Lee, VA for AIT and I'm away from my wife and 7 month old daughter who is starting to crawl. My wife sends me pictures and videos almost dayly.
