Here are some links to files I uploaded for you, I also sent the same to you in PM. Not knowing what you are currently running on your phone, I included a few things. If you are currently running the 3.16 ROM (you have GPS working) just flash to new one and you are good to go. If not, you need to get the 3.16 ROM on there first (let me know and I will upload that one for you as well)

Here are some rapidshare links to ROM build 5040 and the SPL you will need to flash first if you haven't already. I assume you already have the 3.16 ROM on your phone now? if not, you will need to flash that one first as No2's ROM is just the OS and not the radio.

MAKE SURE!!

1. Flash the SPL to 2.40 olipro by running the Hard-SPL-MFG. It will self extract to c:\ttn240mfg then run the ROMUpdateUtility program which will flash the new SPL that will allow you to load the new ROM.

2. you have already flashed the 3.16 ROM to get the latest radio on your phone.

3. Extract the .nbh file from the 5040 Build rar file and replace the RUU_signed.nbh file in the c:\ttn240mfg folder overwriting the one currently in there.

4. Run the same ROMUpdateUtility program located in that folder that you used to update your SPL, this time it will run the new .nbh flashing No2's WinMo 6.1 build 5040 to your phone. If you are using Vista, have an XP machine handy as you may need to exit bootloader using the titan_exitbl file which I will include as well for you.

I hope this helps you along the way, if I rambled or told you things you already know I apologize, just wanted to make sure :-)

If I copy the files on my SD Card to my computer by hooking the phone up via USB those files are then unencrypted? or will any files I used or created since installing this ROM be totally useless the next time I hard reset?

How do I make sure I can get to the files from my sd card after reflashing?

i am giving up flashing for 5days i flashed my phone atleast 7 times since all these gps roms came out, i am sticking with nueroms though. I was down to 3mb yesterday and it still opened live search and pocket cm with no problems..

BTW is the officially 6.1 released? I am kinda lost, did you build 5023 on the official release or a leaked version? not like it matters just curious

I just installed Build 5039 and I cannot copy files from a folder to another? I get an exception error saying cannot copy file.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I got it, I had to go into the encrption setting and simply close it leaving the option unchecked and now it all works except the folder I'm copying the fiels to does not refreash and show the file there after copy unless I manually refresh it.

EDIT: Even more annoying is that I have to go into the encryption settings after EVERY soft reset, lol.

I tried loading this ROM on my phone and I think that i bricked it. Someone please help. I am stuck in on the HTC smart mobility screen. What should I do or there no hope?

I haven't seen anyone mention if the new programs/shortcuts problem has been fixed? The problem when you install a new program or create a shortcut to the start menu, the shorcut will not show up until a soft reset?

Done. Thanks! Previous problem fixed, KINDA! You still have to manually refresh the folder you pasted the file into to see that it's there.

Now I can't copy files to the device VIA activesync anymore, lol. I could with the previous build. Also going into and verifying the encryption setting doesn't change this.

I had the same issue but it cleared up after a couple of reboots for some reason.

One of the issues I am having now is random power-downs. I'll pick up my phone, push the power button to turn the screen back on and the phone was off. Not sure how that happens.

Also, my voice recorder button on the side isn't linked to anything anymore. Cannot find shortcut.

Everything else is awesome.

No2Chem -- have you been able to fix this in the updates? I am still on 5038 and I am having the same issue.

FYI: I have created a new thread that very specifically explains how anyone can upgrade to 3.xx version roms. Here is the link if interested.

Just change to another shortcut in the button mapper under settings. Then change back. It should start working.

Stuck on "HTC Smart Mobility" after unsuccessful flash. HELP!

Press and hold the power and camera buttons on the side of your phone. While holding those down, use your stylus to press the reset button. Keep holding those 2 buttons until the phone resets into the boot loader (rainbow screen). Now you can reflash

If I were to use an existing 2.x kitchen and drop your basekit in it, would that make it a WM 6.1 build based on a 2.x ROM? I was thinking of going back to a pre 3.16 build for stability reasons. Just curious if it could be that easy.

You do not have to perform a soft rest in order for creating shortcuts, renaming, moving, etc to take effect. Simply click on "Refresh" listed on the properties tab for the desired effect to take place. I also recommend using Resco or Total Commander for these kind of changes.

Some program installations require a soft reset but that has always been on a as-needed basis...

This was not an issue until the latest ROM was loaded. What I'm saying is when I install a program (via CAB file), then go to Start/Programs, that program is not listed in my list of programs until I soft reset. This is not be design, as it has never worked like this in any previous ROMS.

How about the MS Voicecommand 1.6 bluetooth button? The bluetooth activation does not work, and the registry hack from yester-year does not either. I would assume, it is due to the stock Voice dialer app being removed. Has anyone figured a workaround? I heard that the bluetooth confirmation was corrected with 3.16, but I get no bluetooth interaction at all...

If I browse to ANY folder on the device and try to copy a file to it, I get an error:

Build 5040 and I cant get Internet. It acts like it needs to do the data provisioning but I havent had any luck forcing it. I tried ##3282# restore and still nothing. Any ideas?
