for the first post on renaming the .exe file where do i download this i know i have to rename it titaimg.nbh but am unable to find the 3.16....nbh file to rename? someone help please

i know this may seem like a dumb question to most of yall but how do u format ur sd card to FAT 32. Thanks in advance

Ok I'm fairly new to flashing. I had no problem flashing to the 3.16 rom but now I want to try one of the custom roms. I want to flash to shadowmite's version. I downloaded the file from rapidshare (http://rapidshare.com/files/86648524...05spl.rar.html) but its a .rar file. Im just trying to make it work. Please Help!

u need pocket rar to extract it.

Ok thanks. I havent seen anyone post anything saying to use pocket rar but ill try it. I dont know how to format the card but i can find out. Is that necessary to perform the operation that im trying to perform.

No, but its neessary for me to format my sd card so i can load that new rom off of it.

Some things that u find to be simple i do not. There are numerous posts on how to flash ur phone but there is nothing stating how to format a card. Some people on this board take for granted that everybody knows the basics. well sorry to inform u, be we don't. You can either help us or not. It took more time and energy typing ur 3 paragraphs than it would've taken for u to just answer my question. Oh yeah my MSID # is the same as my phone #and I figured out how to format the SD card. It took me a while, but I did it.

I feel you on that. I know a whole lot about my ppc more than most actually Ive just never used a custom rom. This is the wrong thread to choose when you want to hate on somebody for asking a question, after all it is the ***Offical n00b Guide to get new Update to Work***
