Customizing OEM's.

Idle curiousity - I tend to set up my rom with a good deal of stuff and spb backup reinstalls everything - I was thinking I might be able to save some settings in the OEMS themselves so I can pick and choose without losing my configuration

for example, the HTC cube, or touchflo, or AIM... maybe some way to add my personal settings to the OEM's so they come configured for me by default when I flash a new rom.

man I wish I could just export settings on apps and drop them into the OEM in the kitchen

i don't personally use the cube but i know that somewhere in the install directories there is a configuration file it's just a text document if you take the one from your already configed cube and drop it in the cube oem wala preconfiged cube on hard reset you can do this with registry edits for other apps to i have a reg edit that makes it so i don't have to register my copy of rescoe file explorer hunt around especially in the eomizer threads you'll find the info on how to do it

you can do all of this. This is exactly what I've done to my rom. Basically you can create and install the rom with everything you want in it. configure all your apps to your liking.. then export the registry settings for those apps then just copy it into your personal OEM that you've created with OEMIZER.. Now just re-cook and flash and no customization needed at all.

Just take care not to loose the phone now because if someone hard reset the phone, all your info still remains. :)

Can you point me to instructions to "EXPORT THE REGISTRY SETTINGS" I am just starting to learn about this OEM stuff. I tried the OEMizer. I see it has settings to include things like "owner info" "sounds and notifications" etc. But I don't understand how to get my settings saved, so I can create an OEM of my personal settings, to include with the kitchen build?

Sorry for the noobie post.
