PiePlus (IE) shutting off when you start it is because its a trial version that expires after 12 days I believe. Reload the ROM or register the sofware to continue to use it.

after about 2 weeks of use it got real buggy for me. JD you should repack the arcsoft mms with the new version. maybe reduce the number of programs. i'm only getting 14mb free space at start up.

Yo JD,
I LOVE this ROM, I've only played with it for about a day now but keep up the good work.

Jd, great rom so far. i am having one problem. whenever i soft reset i am gettting a few error messages. First i'm getting a sipchange error saying "cannot open 'sipchange', a critical component is either missing or cannot start because program memory is unavailable. Tap start>settings>system>tab>memory, top programs that did not automatically stop, and try again". I thought I was able to fix that sort of, but now what pops up is the sip change screen telling me to choose one of the sips when i had chosen the full screen keyboard. If I choose the keyboard you installed i will get an error message saying (notification error)"cannot execute repllog.exe". When i choose like letter recognizer or block organizer just to try somethin else i also gettin a error message saying ( notification error) "cannot execute clocknot.exe". Now please keep in mind that this happens whenever i soft reset. everything works but for whatever reason this stuff happens. can you tell me what I can do about that. also i noticed people on here saying piep2 will expire. I know you said we can find keys out there but where would we go to put that in when we find them. thanks in advance

Hmm I'm having a problem too; the vibrate isn't working anymore, I'm not too sure if it is hardware or rom related. It has happened before, but now even when I soft reset, it doesn't do that vibrate right when you reset it.

Also, how do you back up the SMS's from the threaded SMS program and then use them with the built in sms software?

I just changed mine yesterday to JD's custom ROM. Pretty cool so far. Much faster than the setup I was using with Sprints 2.17. I was using Agenda one, etc and it was causing it to chug when I'd text, etc.

This one seems faster, but theres a lot of crap I don't need. Going to install registry mech, and remove some of it. But overall, I like the setup.

Why this build consumes so much memory after boot? It only has about 12MB free memory w/o loading anything. I remember that my old xv6700 w/ HTC home/today had about 23MB memory available after boot. odd ...
