HELP Unflashing back to Sprint from boost

So I bought an Epic off of Craigslist today and just my luck I couldnt get it activated because the phone was previously on BOOST mobile. So no I am trying to figure out how exactly to get this thing back on the sprint network. i was reading a thread (link below) but I cant even get started with those steps because I cant even get the dam phone to connect to my PC.

[Solved] Flash EVO back to Sprint from Cricket/MetroPCS! - xda-developers

Mind you my original Epic I had connected to the PC once I installed the drivers. so I have the drivers but still no connectivity to the PC. Also Odin is not picking up the phone in download mode neither. Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

For the Epic to have been gotten on Boost network, its not as simple as just flashing over. The ESN has been cloned on the phone :/

As far as drivers, are you on a 32bit or 64bit pc? (separate drivers) and when you plug it in have you checked device manager to see if there are any warnings/unknown devices?

Is the ESN on the device a Boost ESN or a Sprint ESN? (To not boost and Sprint are same company and use same ESN Table but the boost plan counts as an old Sprint plan so new devices can't be activated on Boost. As long as its a boost ESN, no it can't be activated.

Did you install 64bit drivers? And did you check device manager AFTER you plugged it in? also have you enabled usb debug mode?

if you can get your pc to recognize the phone then just use odin to to revert it back to sprint.. I remember someone told me he was trying to flash a rom or go back to stock rom and forgot to only have auto reboot checked ( in other words had everything else checked) and his phone had to be " re-flashed" to boost cause it had reverted to sprint..

in regards to the esn make sure you are checking the esn located on the phone by the battery to see if its good. before you reverted back to sprint cause if its bad then your gonna have to get someone to flash it to boost if you dont know how yourself in order to do anything with it..
