having flashing problem

im trying to flash off the stock gb rom when i go into flash mode the letters are blue not purple and then buttons are unresponsive. i can get back to stock easily so my phones not bricked but i dont know why im having trouble with this. do i need to odin something first? thanks

i just odined this StockEC05NOCIQ-EXT4.tar.md5 and now its installing clockwork so i guess ill be good is a rom like marcus gb ok to put over this or will i have conflicts. thanks

also when i odined this and it did the long clockwork recovery the letters are orange in the flash mode
