GPS always searching for signal
 

I did read the stickies and I do see one fix that makes GPS better and faster....

What I'm looking to find out is if there is a way to stop it from constantly searching. I don't think it affects my battery that much but it bothers me.

If I turn off the GPS, when I need it, then it takes too long to come back on for me to find my way.

Any ideas? Here are my settings currently under Location and Security:

Use wireless networks - checked
Use GPS satellites - checked

don't use wireless networks unless location from here to mars is ok. Get GPS Status app, it works like QuickGPS in the winmo days.

That did stop it from searching all the time. Way to go Gten! XD Now it's only doing it when I turn the screen on and off which I can't complain. That's probably how it's supposed to work anyways. Thanks a lot!
