UI seems a bit clumsy to me....but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I do though like the use of images to highlight games, apps, etc.

Agreed, but the only thing I'm liking is that I've been getting real time mrket update notifications, never seen that before!

is this an offical release? why doesn't my phone ask if I want to update the market?

Looks like a rip off of windows phone 7... another lawsuit... only took a month to get and many demands by my team. We used the net to make our demands knowen from the command center onboard the ncc1701f...

Because you don't have a choice as google has the market updater running... it is a core android app.... what google neds to do is push all updates to the phone like apple does so that we can all have updates very quickly. Right now we have waited almost 9 or 10 months just for gingerbread...

No MARKET/Amazon update control
 

I just got the new Market installed automatically yesterday whether I wanted it or not. Takes a little getting used to but it's not at all bad.

My issue is that my Amazon Appstore freebie-of-the-day apps regularly show up on my Market list as needing updates. Previously I would have to authorize payment through Google for Amazon apps to get them updated on the Market. Which I declined, of course, after getting caught and billed once.

Now the Amazon freebie apps just get listed as needing updates and the update is blocked, which is better. But it's still annoying because they hang on at the top of the Market's My App list with update buttons. Also there seems to be different versions of apps and their updates offered on the 2 markets.

Actually we've got a lot more important things to bitch about these days and this is no big deal. But if Amazon can figure out which of my apps are from the Market and not list or try to update them, I don't know why Market can't do the same.

It's not official yet. This market has it's good and bad to it. Not sure how I feel about the wp7 look to it, but good is adding movies and books.
