I found a 16 gb class 10 at Best Buy for 39.99. Not sure if the sale is still on.

When you look at the card, there is a number on it circled..that number is the class...if then number circled is not present then its automatically a class 2

The specific card you're referring to is an exception to the rule. Sandisk made the same card in both class 2 and class 4 versions. They're the same model #. It depends on what point in time they happened to make the specific card you buy as to which class you end up with. Otherwise, generally the class of the card is on the card, within a circle. Don't go for off-brand cards if you can help it, at least when it comes to micro sd's. Fake cards are VERY prevalent online. You'll buy a 32 gb card, put it in your computer, and it'll read as 32 gb capacity. But, when you copy 25 gb of info onto the card and then look at the card's contents, you'll see only 2/4/8 gb of info is actually on the card. Try brands such as sandisk, lexar, patriot, or this one other that fails to register in my brain right now. Help me out guys... starts with an M I think?

Well you asked me what the "best" was so I pointed you to the "best"...As I said earlier...the class accounts for guaranteed minimum speed of the card..class 2 guarantees a minimum speed of 2mbps, while a class 10 guarantees you a minimum speed of 10mbps...This does not necessary mean the 2mbps will be slower initially...but as sd cards fragment unless you format them they slow down..the min speed guarantee is the class rating.

The class rating you want depends on what you use your sd card for..
