Video Skype on Epic
 

Hey guys, not sure if anyone know but over on xda there is a thread with a patched skype app, that has video working for different devices. Our epic is one of them, and I can verify that it is working on the bonsai B13 rom. It supposedly works on the gingerbread leak roms. Also you have to have a decent connection. I have a slow 3g connection where I'm at and it works, but not really great. When I connect to a wifi connection it works great. I imagine with a good 3g or 4g connection it will work great. Not sure if we can post links to xda, if it's wrong just delete my thread.

Cool, Not sure how many people were looking for skype on r epics, but I for one is glad it's working.

As long as you have good 3g/4g the video isn't bad.

Haven't tried either but I've heard that gtalk has video call with phone running 2.3 so which one has better video quality gtalk or skype

Google video will be integrated onto the 2.3.4 version of android.
