copilot central sync problems

I'm tying to sync my epic with my copilot central program on my window pc. When I connect my phone to the pc it doesn't give me an option to sync, just charge, storage, and tether. Is there a way to sync the epic 4g with the pc, so that my copilot central will recognize it?
