Who is affected? All phones pre-gingerbread
Who should act? Users and developers using pre-gingerbread roms
How do I fix? Flash attached .zip at the bottom of this post or use one of the alternate methods down there
What if I think I was infected? Completely wipe your device, format sdard, go back to stock and re-apply rom, then flash the attached .zip (before installing any apps)

btw this is very real and i just found out now my phone is/was infected.

umm..what rom were you using when you were infected? cause I am pretty sure the patch is built into roms like the ACS one for example, midnight rom also has it included it seems...

And you sure you really were infected? cause that malware is also what we use to root..

this was while back when it happened and yes i know about unlocker but dont really wanna say whos rom i was on cause issue fixed now. i wanted to post it cause lots of people may not know all this exploit stuff even happened.
