I think i Fffdd up my phone [FIXED]
 

in trying to update the modem to EE05 i put the phone in download mode
connected my phone opened up odin clicked on pda selected the EE05 modem made sure auto-reboot was the only one checked hit start and it failed tried it various times and nothing so i switch to a different port and it was going but since it was taking too long i thought something was wrong so i pulled the cable closed odin then pulled the battery all before it finished now when i try to reboot i get a screen with an image of a cell phone some dots then a ! inside of a yellow triangle then a pc

What did i do and how do i fix it ?

dont panic ...... IM WAAAAAY pass panicking right now i was about to throw the phone to the wall already
i got it back to download mode but ODIN just doesnt finish the process. I put ECO5 stock in pda i put the correct pit file that comes with odin made sure only the right thing is checked and nothing takes forever but no progress

hmm..you tried without the pit file? (pit is mostly if you plan to repartition)

how about trying that EB13 tool..it flashes Kies style..

i was able to get it to work but with the old DK28 modem and the pit . I know DK28 is way back compared to the EE03 that was leak now but it works now. I got to root again since i dont have clockworkmod anymore for some reason and then hopefully i can just use CWM to go back to one of my backups i have saved which has the the EC05 modem

IF that worked..try going all the way back to DI18, then using update.zip to go to EC05..

btw..did you use the pit file when you flashed that gingerbread modem?

It was working since i was on DK28 i wanted to upgrade it to EB13 and i have the old samsung upgrade files that were released so i did that and it worked my phone was on EB13 then i rooted the phone and installed CWM it did a back up and restored finished i booted up the phone and it just hanged on the SAMSUNG screen the one before the boot animation so i went back into CWM and restored a backup i have of ECO5 rom it restored correctly but when i reboot the phone it still stays on the SAMSUNG image nothing else is happening

What do i do ?

When you flashed EC05..you flashed EC05 stock? or you used the update.zip to get to EC05?

Also, did you flash the kernel?

phone kept hanging on the Samsung logo so i went back into CWM went into backup restore and did a back up before ext4 convert try rebooting and same thing happened
so then i went back into CWM flashed ACS rom and it booted up all the way FINALLY !!!
so now i went into about phone and its says im running the EB13 modem
Do you have the ECO5 modem ?
