Speed Test Info

Hi,
I am just wondering if I am getting good speed on 3G and 4G.
I did the speed test and here are the results.

I am on stock EC05. and I used speedtest.net app from market.
I tested inside my room (not outside).

3G Speed Test:
Ping: 111ms
Download: 964kbps
Upload: 423kbps

4G Speed Test:
Ping: ~113ms
Download: 2634kbps ~ 3430kbps
Upload: ~1019kbps

just curious. I saw in some post people saying that EE03 modem gives better speed and better stability. should I update to it?

Thanks in advance

The ee03 modem will almost double your 3g connection. I don't have 4g to test, but I heard that was also improved

good news, your speeds were not crappy before but were all looking for more. could be your area also.

Re: Speed Test Info

how terrible are my speeds?

Using OpenSignal maps ran the speet test
and

on 3g
Ping 386 ms
Download: 26kbps (wtf)
Upload: 1484 kbps

Wifi
ping: 30ms
Download 2348
Upload: 2630

Should i update to the EE03 modem or just wait for the official release

One thing I did this speed test while inside my office and i have noticed that when im outside on the road the speed is somewhat better
