Carrier IQ
 

Most of the custom roms have the Carrier IQ removed. I am rooted and I am on the stock EC05 rom. Is there a link to removing this or should I just flash a custom rom? I searched and came up with nothing.

CIQ from what I read is too deeply integrated into the system...I would suggest loading a custom rom with it removed.

I would just falsh the custom rom. k0nane didn't post the instructions on removing it. Anyway, to do it you would need to be familiar with the source code and other internal working of the rom. My suggestion would be to take an existing custom rom and adjust it to your liking.

i also say install a custom rom of your liking i prefer ACS Syndicate then install any theme you want on top of that or just modify it however you feel like. Konane didnt post the instructions on how to remove it but i have seen that he has helped other developers on how to do it when they are making a rom you just got to ask him but you got to have some knowledge of what your doing
