reboot while rooting

Hi gTEN and ALL...
please let me know if i am posting the same issues that had been posted.

I try to follow instruction from:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/sprint-epi...ckworkmod.html

everything seems to be running smoothly after i run the 'run.bat'
and once command prompt shows 'read finished', my phone got rebooted.

is it normal? is the phone actually got rooted? how do i check?

a little bit about phone spec:
firmware ver: 2.2.1
Kernel version: 2.6.32.9
Build Number: Froyo.EC05

if it still not rooted, what am i doing wrong? please help...

thankssss in advance

Yeah, it's normal. Turn your phone off, then 3 finger into recovery (vol down + camera + power button) and you should boot into clockworks recovery. From the link you posted you should boot into the old version with the green text.

(the new version is only for ext4 so you'll be fine)
