Phone still frozen after Odin EC05 Tar fix

I attempted to root my Epic 4G and it didn't take

I ran a factory reset and that left the phone frozen on the Samsung screen

I ran Odin and used the EC05 Tar full wipe version fix

Odin ran the entire process successfully, however, when my phone restarted it went back to being frozen on the Samsung screen

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated
