Got it! I'll be sure to post it in the Arrive forum so you can read it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Re: Considering Abandoning Windows Phone 7 for Android

I remember when I went from my first smart phone (htc tp2 w/ windows 6.5)

I loved the phone.. It took me forever to learn to flash it and I only flashed it once..

Since I have had my epic I have installed the wrong zip and it took about 5 minutes to put back to stock and root again. It is so much more open than the winmo. As for quality , I am with the op. I have had 1 samsung (minus my epic) and it was a pos. I went through 4 phones then Usc gave me the tp2 for free..

But anywho. the epic is good build quality and android is tons better than winmo .

As an avid WinMo user in the past and a covert to Android over a year ago I say you should give it a shot. Of course you will have (another) learning curve when you first switch but it isn't a bad as many people think.

Agree. I had most of it down in two weeks.

I have been fortunate enough to have figured out the ins and outs of the phone within about 48 hours of looking through the menus. I'm not looking for a phone that I would have to hack, flash, etc... in order to get it to work properly and this is exactly what I received in Android! I love the flexibility and that it allows so much more functionality than the Windows iPhone 7 iperating system.

Hmmm, maybe you should try reading a little more. If you had, you would have realized that I switched from the Arrive to the Epic a week ago. Next time, try reading more before you make yourself look like an idiot....

the OP already made his switch and stated the reasons y so there's no point for this thread to stay open.
