{D.I.Y} Epic Gamepad for Games and Emulators

Hey guys,
just wanted show my fellow gamers something I put together in the last couple days. If you have some extra parts you can do this for free:

This is just a rough draft, but ill tell you that it works just about flawlessly to my surprise.

What I used to build mine:
-An old magnetic flip type case
-An old super Nintendo controller.
-Super glue
-mm ruler
-patience
Sorry, I didnt take any pictures during the build because I didnt think it would end up working too well, but to my surprise it works perfectly!!!!

How I went about it:
Preparing the case
Fold the flap into the case, open the Epics keyboard and slide it into the case and cut across until the case only covers the keyboard right up to the bottom of the display.
On my case there was a bit of foam in between 2 pieces of leather which worked perfectly.
Pull out any foam that is in between the leather.
Then put some type of padding in between the back of the case and the folded down flap until the keyboard fits into the case snugly.

Preparing the controller:
Disassemblethe controller and take out the directional pad, buttons, and the springy rubber contacts under the buttons.
Cut out around each of the round bumpers and Super glue each one to the bottom of each button. For the Directional pad, first measure the the distance of the Epics keys to decide where to glue the rubber contacts. I used keys W, A, D, and Z for my directional pad layout. I used I,P,M, and enter keys as the four buttons (A, b,x, and y) like on Snes controllers, and the comma key and space bar for Select and start buttons.

Assembly:
The rest is a matter of accurate measuring of the cut-outs of the buttons to align them with the keys. Easiest way is to slide the keyboard in and take a pen and click the keys through the case until you feel the best contact with the correct button an mark that spot for cutting. Just cut the top or outside layer of the case., because you will slide the buttons between the 2 layers of leather.
Once you get the buttons lined up and in in correctly you can super glue the two pieces together so the the buttons and directional pad are in place and between the two leather pieces securely.

That the basic gist of the project, hope this helps somebody to make their own controller as well.
Now I cant get my 4-year old daughter to let me use my own phone.
