go here, click on software 1st, then download the mac version(zip file)
put update.zip on root of sd card, enter android recovery(purple letters on black background).
now sum wud differ to say u have to go to DI18 unrooted for this to work.
i reverted anyway and have had 0 issues

lol it just took me to log onto a real comupter to see what u meant. i generally use the wiiforum so it didnt show up as a link lol

so im lost i dont want the eb13 or this new one in march or what im so confused bc im trading my evo for epic tomaro so hmm idk :scratch:

you will want eb bro, im loving it with ext4 midnight rom. i will fix ya up and check your pm. welcome to the epic side/good size.

I downloaded from the Samsung site and tried updating with the update.zip program on the root of my SD card and i got a Stage 7 Error. I did a hard reset and tried again, same error. Any ideas?

This works every time:

Epic4G_FroyoUpgrade_EB13.exe (200.73 MB)
The EB13.exe will wipe your whole phone so be prepared to lose it all. This will give you full instructions as you go through the process. It's like an ODIN for dummies. This method can be used to go from any version of android whether its stock or not or DI18 or DK28.

Can I ask, I use the Wireless Tether from Google often. When I perform the upgrade and then reload using MyBackupPro (which only backups the programs) will I still be able to use the wireless tether?
