Sound Setting FC since flashing Froyo
 

I have tried 3 or 4 different Froyo Roms but keep getting the same error whenever I go into Settings and try to access the Sound setting. "The application Settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." Then I get a option to Force Close. I've wiped everthing 3 times before installing the ROMS but no matter what ROM it keeps happening. I've reverted back to stock and everything is fine but whenever I go back to Froyo it happens again. Was suggested over at Xda that it might have something to do with EXT4 or restoring data from CWM, Titanium or MyBackup Pro but I don't use EXT4 and it happens even after a fresh flash before I restore anything. Any suggestions anyone?

Have you tried Odin back to DI18 and then using STOCK recovery to flash the update.zip to Froyo?

No I haven't tried that. I've used Odin to flash back to Stock DI18 but always used it to then upgrade back to Froyo. Never thought of flashing it from recovery. I will give it a try. Now on to find a Froyo update zip. Thanks! Will report back with results.
