Phone Not Recognized with ADB - Device Offline
http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...da13/click.png
Hey guys, I've been doing some research on this problem with the Epic 4g phone, but no clear solution has shown up. My phone had an issue even being recognized by my computer with debugger off, but now the drivers are settled. However, with Android SDK tools installed, the ADB doesn't recognize my phone. Even under CMD prompt if we path through Android install sub folders and run ADB devices under platform-tools and it says: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...cuda13/cmd.png I have the phone plugged in and debugger on, but can't seem to get the ADB to recognize the phone. I have downloaded the USB drivers from Samsung and tried both having Windows automatically install the drivers for the phone once plugged in and also manually routing the drivers to the downloaded one. If anyone has any ideas, suggestion, or solutions please help :) Thanks everyone. |
Re: Phone Not Recognized with ADB - Device Offline
Can you get your PC to recognize your phone at all? Like when you plug in to the USB port and mount your phone in Windows. Maybe the USB cable is bad.

Re: Phone Not Recognized with ADB - Device Offline
The PC will recognize the phone and mount it as mass storage, we've tried different USB cables, and they all have the same result. For some reason we just can't get ADB to recognize that we have a device attached. Tested with a few different cables, on different USB ports, on different computers, and still won't work.

open device manager on pc and see if adb is installed and probably it is not and you can manually install it from there.
