Remove / Disable DRM

I have tried several methods to remove / disable the battery sucking DRM programs, but it keeps coming back. I used the SDX App Removal tool and removed the 2 DRM apps that were on the list. Then I downloaded Startup Auditor Free and disabled the 2 DRM apps that were on that list. But it still keeps coming back. Every time I reboot my phone and check Running Services, the damn DRM service is always there. Can someone please explain to me how to stop the DRM stuff once and for all?

it's not just 2... There's 3 that you need remove with SDX App Removal. I believe it's DM.apk, DrmUA.apk, and SisoDrmProvider.apk

I checked in my services running right now.. no signs of DRM there. Try it and see if that helps...

Hit the Thank Button. :-D

Found all 3 and removed all 3. Worked like a charm. Thanks!

is it okay to do this on a rooted stock rom? Will it mess up the official upgrade to froyo 2.2 once it is released?

If you use the SDX App remover make sure you back it up first before you remove it. That way if it does cause an issue you can just restore it.

It is known to cause media issues if completely removed....that's why I just use StartupAuditor....no problems ever...
