texting issues

I am having texting issues. When I receive texts they are time stamped an hour behind? Like if I sent a text at 1230 then when I get a reply back it will timestamp it 1130 which messes up the order of the text in the convo. Also ive been receiving the same texts numerous times. This has started happening since the day light savings time has ended. My phone is a sprint epic and I have an airvana. Any ideas?

If you have an Airwave..does the airwave have a time? maybe the airwave did not update with DST and is having issues.

I dont think it had a time but if it were the airrave wouldnt it affect both outgoing and incoming messages? My outgoing message have the write time. The incoming ones dont

This is a guess but what about this possibility:

Well lets look at it like this..if it sends the message in say GMT time...

so 10:00 am GMT time would be 5:00am here

your airwave may translate the time for you to EST and then your phone does not other translating it again as its already EST.

When you send out your phone translates EST-> GMT..airwave has no reason to translate it and lets it go through...

Try sending and receiving text messages outside the range of your airwave and see if its fine.

Edit: seems like I am correct:

I have an Airave at home so I'll have to see if I see anything like this when I get home. I have experienced a timestamp issue before but it didn't have anything to do with my Airave. There is a restaurant here in town that I go to and they are in a location where the coverage in the building is very odd. If I am there sitting at the bar and get a text the time stamp is usually off by hours. I haven't been there in about 4 months but if my memory serves me right I think they were 5 hours off which would match the EST -5 offset which made me wonder if something with the tower was set to UTC instead of UTC -5. I asked the bartender about it and he told me that people see that all the time there.

All times are GMT -4. The time now is 04:51 AM.
