Problems with EPIC, how do I get a new one

It is a pretty common thing around here to hear something like, "I am on my second EPIC" or, "I went through 4 diamonds before I got a touch pro" etc.

My question is : HOW?

I don't have TEP, can I just walk into a sprint store, and say, " my epic has giving me these problems: GPS problems, and calls have been dropping more than my previous phones, Can you Swap my phone for a new one? (without having to pay a $35 restocking fee)"

It has been less than 30 days since I bought the phone

Also, a side question, is sprint able to see the number of dropped calls a person had? so I can just tell them, "look it up on your system, I have had xx many dropped calls in the last 2 weeks"

Thanks in advance

You have 30 day coverage in store, after that, you need TEP to get replacements... they should be able to track dropped calls but never do... you should be good to go if you are having real issues... GPS fix is coming soon btw... mine works fine if I power cycle the phone periodically and let GPS lock for a minute before I boot up GPS programs like Goog Nav... mine is spot on and better than my old TP2 to be honest, though I know some people are having problems...

Re: Problems with EPIC, how do I get a new one

I bought the phone on the 8th of this month

Two followup questions:

1. If i take my phone in on the 28th day, would I only have 2 days to exchange the second handset incase something is wrong with that one as well? or do I get another 30 days?

2. Can I do a return instead of an exchange?

Thanks

hardware keyboard not registering was issue for first 2 along with the phone rebooting while on calls to frequently on #2 & its business first so I can't have that .... on #3 the keyboard as of now is ok but I was having an issue just like s.o.d with tp2 where I had to pull the battery to get it back alive . that happened 4 times between 6pm last night and 10am today so I said fk it and wiped the phone out . . after setting it all up too lol. the issue hasn't happened again since reset and I hope it doesn't or I'm heading back to sprint.
