You can use Astro to check the MD5Checksum of the files you download to make sure it didn't get corrupted.

downloaded it again.. yeah it probably was... compared the two files previously it was only 3.31mb the new one was 4mb hmm. So anyway... I'm very grateful for hulu now finally playable on Samsung Epic... I mean WOW!

Using the Hulu app as my new widget... no landscape support really...is that normal? And using Dolphin or Stock Browser the damn thing is just "buggy" but watchable/ not watchable on the stock browser. Even Skyfire beta wouldn't let me watch hulu videos using desktop agent.

And one more thing.. Flash player 10.1 tries to reinstall itself after I caught it doing that I canceled the download.. was instructed to uninstall flash player before installing the hulu flash player mod. Is it important to keep Flash player 10.1 uninstalled? If so..how do I prevent it from installing on the epic?

viper rom has hulu cooked in now for anyone having issues.

Which ones...?
And does hulu have landscape functions?

In case you haven't noticed there is more than one version of the viper roms in the upgrade forum. No. Haven't used anyone's rom yet because I decided to stick with the earlier versions of Dj29 for now.

I got this working with Dolphin HD browser, but it's quirky getting full screen to work right. I put this Stock Froyo Rom on last night and it is running great. [Stock Flash][Odin]Dk17 Extended 11/28/2010 W/ Working Camera Fix. - xda-developers

I can't get it to work with the stock Browser. I type about:config into the address bar, but there is still no UAString in the settings to change to Desktop view.

Which Browsers does this work with other than DolphinHD?


Edit: Got it working, Hulu In Full Screen!!!!

Removed stock browser with Titanium backup, then flashed this modified Stock Browser through Recovery. It has the UAString built in the the Settings menu. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...7&postcount=57

cool. i just installed this using the clockwork mod. it works pretty good. just cant get it to work in landscape, also cant find the widget for it.
i didnt have to disable anything. all i did was just unzip it using clockwork.

it plays the videos just pretty small though. any way to make them go landscape??

This wasn't the best option for me as the Stock browser was still too buggy to use for Hulu.

I used the paid version of Xscope Browser... this is far the best handy browser to do everything other than just Hulu.. it was easy to configure in full screen.

Besides doing that mod to your browser disables the download or somehow corrupts it as mentioned in that thread.

There's no widget.... look in the app drawer you will see something with an green colored Letter "h"... tap and hold... then drag it to your home screen and THAT becomes your widget.
