Happy New Year! And to start off a new year, I got some bad news....My phone keeps restarting itself again like with previous ROM's. I nailed it down to three scenarios:

1. Sometimes when I open up the keyboard.
2. Sometimes after I press the END to finish a call.
3. Sometimes going back from reading a message.

I don't know what can be causing it, any ideas? Thanks

You guys think following these instructions had anything to do with my problems? Or maybe using this Android 2.3 Gingerbread v1.6.5 theme located here? Or could it be that I am restoring apps with Titanium Backup? Any suggestions? Thanks

Titanium backup has never failed to restore all my apps without an issue. I know lot's don't like it but it's worked great for me.

I always thought if u move Apps to sd the results will increase the memory and speed of your rom. I move about 50-60 Apps to sd, and before I flashed another rom there were instances of the rom getting slowed after using titanium... the more I use it the painfully slow it gets. Now when I flash a new rom... all my sd apps are gone! But somehow after booting old clockwork and advance to reboot recovery. The new version 1.2 clockwork I reboot it again... my Apps on sd started recovering and became available again.

Edit : but the problem with lag still exists.

The problem with my backup pro is when u restore your Apps and data... it does not restore it back to exact location as was previously - internal or sd.

All you have to do was clear the privacy settings in the settings on the phone.you need to make sure that any rom flashed is flashed inside the new recovery. You need to download quickbbot and select recovery. then flash the rom.....

When I clear the privacy settings it reboots and just hangs. When I open quickboot and click recovery it just reboots and hangs as well.

3 button to old clockwork and goto advanced/reboot recovery, that should get you to clockwork with "2" on end for ext4 stuff.

When I try it that way it just reboots and hangs! Than even if I take out the battery it still boots and hangs until i clear the caches than it boots to the same rom without resetting or erasing anything!
