darren, i saw that screen shot on xda. id try checking the debug-en box as well. i think that may be your problem with his modem.

whosdaman is over at the epic forums at xda right now saying he never had a real brick from this. that is the reason dk05 was pulled at xda. firon said whosdaman got a permanent brick. whos is saying he just took it to odin and reflashed it just fine!

After all the trouble I been through with DK05 and DK05 modem I decided to leave it alone.. I flashed to DK05 with clockwork and DK05 modem with odin but the reverse I nearly thought I brick it. So now I'm back up and running... I did flash to DK05 rom without flashing to DK05 modem... with DK05 you can set your default homescreen... gps worked right out the box (that's because I flashed to di18 first) but hotspot didn't work unless you wanna call sprint and add the feature to your plan....? anyway I rather not.

So I flash back to DJ29 and still using Di18 modem... the hotspot worked for me right out the box.. GPS is currently still working. homescreen is far left by default which I like better anyway... I think I can use this one everyday... It has been most worked on rom than any other rom I flashed my phone into. But I'm afraid about flashing to 4.2, what did 4.2 fix?

In short, noobnl is a liar. There is no signature found in any leak the devs have been given. It's all a hoax. It's unfair to the very rights this community is built upon. We are a community, we are here to help each other make the most out of our phones, and noobnl is prohibiting just that.

He's not in it to help us out, he's in it for the fame. If he was really here to help people like you and me out, he wouldnt be lying to the faces of each and every one of you.

Lucky for you, there are people in the community that care about you and don't want to uphold the monolopy that is going on right in front of us.

I just hope that each and everyone of you can wake up and see that noobnl is a liar and isn't here for us but for himself.

To flash the modem:

Put pit in the pit section, and modem.bin in the PHONE section. This fixes GPS.

FLASH THE ROM FIRST THEN ODIN THE MODEM

ok. I wanna try the modem install. i downloaded the modem zip and Odin. I opened Odin and guided the 2 files to the proper slots. I turned off my epic. Held 1 and power. i see yellow android. I wait... wait... wait... Odin does not do nothing. Odin dont see my epic. Is there a file im missing? First time Odin user. I do have the samsund XP drivers to get Cloclwordmod to work. Thats the only drivers I have installed.

Forget it. Fixed. Simple pc restart did the trick. Now I'm on the dearly feared time nuke modem! Dear lord, help us all!

Llamas, quick question. When you flash this dk05, does the kernel get replaced aswell? Or dose this dk05 rom has no kernel?

Btw. I did the whole dk05 and modem flash. And I still have gps lock issue. Lol. Fail.
