when you are getting your new phone your old one wont be "locked, i dont believe. It will just not be on your account, unless the lady said that was part of the deal and somehow made it so that it couldn't be reactivated.

When you bought your initial mogul. You recieved a 1 year warenty, which means Alltel will replace it if it is a hardware issue and not because of water damage, serious dropping ect. Your TEP is just insurence through HTC (i believe) witch means that if your phone being messed up is your fault (water damage) that you pay $50 (or whatever) and get a new one in the box.

So what im wondering is if you will call sprint and just ask how much longer your warenty iss with the phone. If for some reason when you did the exchange 2 months ago, and you do indeed have 10 more months of warenty left on the phone, I will consider buying it.

just tested the esn and it is clear. The TEP is insurance through sprint that covers repairs partially and then through asurion it will cover replacement. The initial mogul was purchased as a refurb on ebay. I don't think there is a warranty.
