Sometime, I do notice the banner advertisement cover the first post's picture if anyone loaded up a picture. I only have seen this twice.. anyone else having this issue? I'll remember to take a screenshot next time I encountered this.

Yes, but I guess it was time for a change and upgrade. At first, I didn't like it very much.. but as time progresses, I get used to it and found it very attractive and easy to use now :)

The old style was just temporary because after we upgraded to vBulletin 3.8.x we needed a completely new style since the original one wasn't compatible anymore. That's when we found the old one that was up for about a month. It wasn't very unique and looked like lots of other forums.

The site owner envisioned something like this and we made it happen.

The front page will continue to be tweaked and is dedicated to news articles.

Notice how his first post goes outside of the borders due to the large picture? Might want to put a limit to the size of picture that can be placed in a post so that the picture cannot make the post wider than the content area boundaries.

Nothing against your pic Psyki, just using it as an example.

BTW, I saw a great suggestion earlier. If you don't want to make the content area wider on all themes, would it be possible to get a widescreen theme with a wider content area?

I will see how easy it is to change.

The widescreen format would just be for the forums. I don't believe you can have user-selectable styles in Wordpress like you can in vBulletin.

i really hate this new form... I can't figure out how to post a new thread.

or if i search certain things... like energy rom, and click on hermes... i don't have anythread. I don't know why... but sometimes I can't even find the first post to see what it is I want to look at/dl.

Ummm, there's a New Thread button if you're in a forum.

All of the functionality is the same, just a different style. To search you can either use the Google Search box at the top or use the old Search drop-down button in the navbar. You can also do the "Search This Thread" button just like you could before.
