I liked the PPCgeeks background before. Although the text was alittle hard to read at times.
PPCgeeks had its own personality whenever I logged on, that Blue background. Now it looks alittle generic.
I guess change has to get used to but there is something about the new background, colors, etc. that need some tweaking, imho of course :)
And obviously, a Big Thank You for the hard work and expenses it took to do this upgrade.

Graphically, the update is terrible. It's way too bright now and seems way too bland. A lot of us use these forums at night when we're relaxing and this will just make it annoying. XDA was bad enough with their yellow, but at least that's a little easier on the eyes than this background. I do like the options to change certain colors, but the one color i want to change is not an option. Also, as I've noticed others stating, we can no longer easily jump from the touch pro to diamond forums because you got rid of the phone icons at the top. Grrr.

Someone should start a poll to see how many of us actually like or dislike this update.

the "goto first new post" button is tiny, and even harder to click while surfing from your phone

does not work at all with firefox? I cannot send messages or post replies? using FF version 3.0.2 I will update to the latest version and report. Thanks!
edit: I can get used to any visual theme. I personally like the old blue better but if I cannot use firefox to use the forums, well, I might cry.
edit 2: updated firefox to version 3.5.1. still no luck posting. I get this:

"The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 5 characters."

I am using the original style with the link that was provided.
I like it better.
Is there a way to have the original style appear automatically without always having to press the link?

I'm using 3.0.12 and its working good.

As far as the style goes, I'm going to keep 2 updated, but it'll take some time.

The default one will be the ones with the tabs at the top. Eventually we will get the phones added up there and have a custom header.

The Marvel style (the old one) has also been updated to the new version of vB, but I have to redo most of the hacks in that style too.

For now, if you want the old style, use the PPCG-Old Default style and most basic features will work, but some won't...until I get them updated.

i noticed the same thing
this was always a problem with me
works on my version of FF and i have the latest and i usually have the most problems with FF ll

also i wanted to say that my FB and Msn icons on the right of my posts are gone now. ill check my settings and i just changed to the new default theme as well.

another note could i please make a request?...see this image on the top left..." PPCGeeks, PocketPC Information Station" could that link to: www.ppcgeeks.com? im used to that on the old default theme whats the sense of having 2 of the same links? you can just click the "Forum" link and it goes to the same page and this makes more sense...thanks!
