Site Downtime 7/24/10 - Report Issues
 

If you didn't notice, we were down today for about 4 or 5 hours. An issue was brought to our attention where it was telling people their posts weren't meeting the minimum requirement even though it did.

To fix this, we ran a repair/optimize script on the database, which took waaay longer than expected due to the size of our 'post' table. We ran into a few issues and eventually got it worked out and the script ran complete.

Please report any issues you may have here. Check posts, posting, searching, etc. The biggest hiccup was with the posts table and as far as I know there's no corruption, so we should be good to go.

Thanks for letting us know what was going on. Glad that everything is back up and running, even though the site being down meant that I did not get my usual "Play around on the forum before work" ritual.

However, I love this place so I forgive you guys, lol. :p
