Tip This & Retweet Buttons

We've added a couple of new features for you today.

You'll probably notice 2 new buttons within the posts in the forums.

Retweet will open up a box that lets you post a link and Tweet about it on Twitter. You might be prompted to setup a link to your Twitter account the first time you do it.

Another one is Tip This. If you use this button, you'll send our news staff an email if you think a post in our forums should be a news article on our homepage. Often times we'll have people post breaking news in our forums but we might miss it. This lets you tip us.

Re: Tip This & Retweet Buttons

thanks Frost, very nice.

I've noticed something on the WiForums side has yet to be fixed in regards to some of the issues we've discussed the last 4-6 months. You still can't edit a post - you can edit it, but it will not save the "edited" update.

I know this site is dependent on others fixing their issues, but wondered if you know if these is being worked on, or even brought to WiForums attention.

thanks man

Good catch, I thought it was because I forgot to change the file extensions when I uploaded the buttons lol

I think that may be possible using an HTML table, I'll write some code for it and submit it to frosty to see if it works
