is anyone else having issues from their PC? Right now I am stuck in the "old" ppc view.

not me but im working on finding a new mobile version. bare with me. :)

yeah i logged on a while ago on my ppc and it looked a tad different.

yea i connected to wifi in the diner and i though it was loading the desktop skin for a second lol.

only thing not working right so far is the images on the homepage. i get red X's

this mobile version is still looking odd to me.

looks a lil odd because the posts aren't broken up so it looks like everything is on top of each other and you can't really tell where one post ends and another begins, but i love the fact that we can download files again, i was dying at work when i saw like 3 files that i wanted and i couldn't get them from my phone.

be patient guys, Mike will have it all running like a well oiled machine very soon.

yep no worries. im sure it will all be sorted out.

Glad to see that we're on the path to mobile surfing at ppcgeeks again. Like Jack said...be patient...all will be fixed soon enough!

i saw a nice one at sprintsuers.com , mike check out their mobile version, shows attachments, pictures, and looks neat too.

So not complete noob but...
can no longer see images and default view of ppc geeks forum.

used to see forum as on pc. resently installed pie plus but i can still see xdev forum same, so dont think its pie+.

Yes checked settings in pie, on phone. is this just new screen for forum. how do i get back to standard pc view of site.

any direction is much appreciated.

I believe you can't anymore unless you set PIE to look like IE. This started after we upgraded to vBulletin, it always forwards mobile devices to the mobile layout.

Also, the images issue just happened after this latest layout update that allows mobile downloads. It will be fixed.

Ppcgeeks mobile sight is terrible!
 

okay, i know this cant just be me with this problem.

first i noticed that the standard blue html site was no longer available on my phone, im guessing it automatically recognizes that the user is either on pie or opera mini..... no big deal

then i fnd out i can no longer download attachments..... now im just annoyed, but not by a lot as i can always check out other forums or google for the new flash bundle or what not

now there seems to have been another "update" to the mobile site, and it is so sucky that i had to make this thread

if screenshots of this are necessary, i will comply, and even right now, i am on opera mini and am very dissatisfied with the sucky interface

I noticed a change when I used my mobile phone too. It was real cool when I first got on here about 2weeks ago. Now as far as downloads I haven't had that much of a prob and I still see the blue links and stuff. The people are still cool too.

Calm down and let Wideawake work out the bugs. He is having server issues.

from what i have seen there isnt many good mobile skins for vb like the one we had on php. someone needs to make a good one.

I'm just happy as a puppy with two peters that I can download attatchment from the mobile view again. No, it's not as pretty, but I can deal with it.
