Saga on Sprint?
I know people usually try to put Sprint phones on Verizon, but I'd like to do the opposite.
I know how to make the necessary "change" *cough* to get the phone programmed for basic cell service. My questions are 1) Where do I get the QPST/CDMA Workshop drivers for the Saga? 2) Will I be able to provision data services on Sprint? 3) Can I just load a Sprint PRL or are there more steps involved? Thanks for your help! |
Re: Saga on Sprint?
the usb drivers on the cd in the saga's package work for qpst.
if you just change the prl then the phone bit would work. But i think there's a bit more to it for data, sms, & mms (I think that all needs to be edited in windows side of things- not the phone side with qpst). Also the gps might now work, I'm sure it wont work in AGPS mode. But I dont know what weirdness will happen if it's on sprint and tries for standalone mode. Standalone doesn't work with gsm so far. honestly a bit over my head so can't be of much help with specifics. |
