Getting Saga to work as Wifi Router Hotspot
I have the Saga and I like it very much.
I am trying to get it to work with WMWIFIROUTER software to enable it as a Wifi Router Hotspot. I have it working except for the cellular side with Verizonwireless. In order to use it, you have to have ICS installed which I do. That was a hard enough task, but I cannot get it to work as a hotspot. (I want to be able to connect to the wifi side as a router to use my ipod touch, my laptop, and other wireless devices). Has anyone tried this yet? Does anyone have some tips on how to get it to work? I think I must have something not installed correctly. Thanks. |
Re: Getting Saga to work as Wifi Router Hotspot
I have this working on my Saga. Not sure what else to do beyond what you have done, ICS and WMWifi. Have you reset the phone in between installs?

i also have a problem with this, however, i can not get internet sharing to work at all, i am very frustrated beacuse nothing seems to work.
In Internet Sharing UI i select pc connection as usb , but for the network connection, it only says none, even when my cellular data is running , how do i have it recognize my cellular data network? |

Worked fine for me. I just installed wmwifirouter and ICS. I also did the .NET framework update before I installed anything.
