Tring to flash inside Linux

Greetings to you all and happy Thanksgiving.

I have been running Linux for the past couple of weeks for the fact that Windows want see my 2 SATA drives and am trying to flash with Linux. I used UMDL inside Wine and it want detect my phone. I have a Windows box but it's my mom's laptop and she dosent like me using it.Sooooo...yea, if someone knows how to flash inside Linux MInt that would be awesome.
