Anyone had an Omnia replaced recently?

Just curious if VZW still has Omnias to replace defective units or if folks are getting a different phone as the replacement.

I had mine replaced like a month ago and they gave me a referished. I recommend it because the screen is WAY more responsive. I got the original like 9 months ago and the screen needed my finger nails to respond, the new one is perfect. I use the pads of my fingers with no problem.

Agreed. My wife just had her Omnia replaced and the replacement unit had a much better screen than her original Omnia.

Im having trouble with my screen, one part is even dead to where I can never press the "P" key on my keyboard, I have to turn it to landscape just for the one letter. The rest of the screen is just super unresponsive, have to press hard and click things several times... I guess I will call in and see what they can do, ugh I hate calling customer service for anything...

If you don't have insurance replace the digitizer, its the glass above the monitor, I had to to it with my old vx6900 (a few to many drops on the floor)

Ya I just got a new one a few days ago. It's a refurb but no issues what so ever.

I have a referb and it's way better than the new one i got in the beginning, you'll be happy. I dropped mine yesterday and then kicked it sliding it on concrete with the screen down! Luckily I had a screen protector! Put a new one on and good to go!
