I wonder if there is a way to get the Omnia to auto-update. Last time I tried to add another version of Opera, it created another app.

on my tp2 its sweet, zoom isnt ready yet though. lots of new goodies and runs like opera mini.

dont be sorry. not eveyone checks the software section. to be honest i dont think i ever been to the software section here. so its all good and i thanks on both posts



on another note, why would they even think about releasing a version 10 when 9.7 is still in beta.doesnt make sense.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I like it so far a lot, might even make it my default except for when I need flash, which I use Skyfire. The funny thing is, I notice most Omnia users here are all using 9.7 beta or some version of it, but the couple of times I tried it, it worked very poorly for me. So all this time I've been using regular old 9.5, and now to be able to get Opera 10 working so nice is absolutely awesome.....

By the way, Darrenwsln I think that was you in the software forum who said you were testing a new version of Skyfire??? It sounds awesome, can't wait, please keep us posted with any info you are allowed to give (which understandably Im sure you cant say alot).. Its still nice to have someone here who is in the loop!

op, yes im a alpha skyfire tester but cant talk much about whats comming out but omnia,tp,tp2 user will like the changes they have made so far, big finger and eyecandy improvements. we just started testing again but from what i see there back in the game and hearing what people want. i sent a pm to skyfire boss to ask just what i can post about the progress so i may post in "ppcnews" forum with more info.

I would also like to start using Opera again, preferably with a Titanium Opera Favorites panel that works AND will link to Opera 10. Anybody have a version of this panel that will do this?

I second that! I already have the regular Opera panel, there must be a way to redirect it to open 10, as well as the favorites....

Hey Solange, I can do it for you i just need to know where the .exe is for the new Opera10. It's usually in \Program Files\Opera Mobile 10\ and then an .exe.

Also can you upload the opera9.mscr file, I'm using a custom panel for opera faves so i don't have it, it'll be in \Program Files\COpera\

it doesnt detect opera 10, and now i cant delete the program.

Greens, that would be awesome, thank you so much! The exe for mine is in this folder: "My Storage \ Program Files \ Opera Mobile 10"

And I attached the opera9.mscr file, but I had actually found it in this folder: "Windows \ Opera9" , not sure if that makes a big difference. Thanks again!

Winmofreak, sometimes when it doesnt show a browser in the list of browsers for me, I open up JZSmartMort settings, and then while its running in the background open the browser I want to detect. After that it should detect it.

The weird thing is, I had take off that program a couple of weeks ago because I had been trying to upgrade to the new version and it didn't work, plus it wouldn't let me reinstall the original version for some reason. I had trouble uninstalling it too, I basically just tried to find any folders associated with it and deleted them. Anyway, the point of telling you that was is that I didnt even have JZSmartMort running or anything, but when I clicked on a link in my email, it automatically opened up in Opera 10, which surprised me. I am not sure if it's a fluke or what

Ok, here ya go.
Just replace this opera9.mscr with your old one, let me know if there are any problems.

Thanks Greens, I tried doing it but when I click on the panel it says "Opera10-armv4i cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."

I just got it today it's quick, it renders the web pages fast. Love the new interface and features

Thanks again Greens, I had tried it and it didnt work, but then I realized something weird with the way Opera 10 was installed on my phone: basically the icon in the start menu would launch Opera 10 just fine, but the icon in the program files Opera 10 folder, when you click on it nothing happens. So I reinstalled Opera 10 and now I am going to try the different versions that you had made of opera9.mscr and see what happens... Thanks for all your help!

nothing so far runs like opera mini v4.2
facebook desktop version downloads in less than a second with highest quality picture ....
speed ...I am getting with mini 8 mGPS , with the new opera I am getting around 2 only.


Ive been testing and testing .......and nothing like 4.2 .

opera 10 bata3 works even better, but it hangs with plugins enabled, when visiting youtube

It looks nice but for some reason I couldnt get my keyboard to pop up..I set a soft key to do it but I think I am going to wait it out a bit.
