Cant open pdf atachments from gmail
 

When I try to open a pdf file in my gmail it says (if there are images in this attachment they will not be displayed) Have I shut something down w/out realizing it? If I download the adobe le cab will this fix the prob?

create a gmail account in windows messageing you can download and save all attachments. the java app to me was only good for reading and answering and maybe the occasional word doc but you couldn't save it.

Yes, you will be able to open the pdf file if you install Adobe Reader LE.

I have gmail on my messaging. but I still cannot open the pdf's. If I save I have to "save target as" and it will not give me the option to save as pdf. only html . if I try to open it from ie or messaging I still gett the message "if there are pics they will not be displayed" I installed the pdf cab and still the same.

sounds like a serious issue

but.........with my pdf's i just use picsel browser

Ok, I have deduced my problem down to another factor. If I get an email and it shows thats the attachment is .pdf when I open the email. adobe does open the pdf. but if the pdf attachment just says "1 attachment" in the email and has the paper clip behind it, it wont open as a pdf. Is it the way it is being sent or attached?
